Terms and Conditions<\/h2>\n

Presentation <\/span><\/b>:<\/span> <\/strong>The ticketing service provided by EX-SITU, available at www.exsitu-congres.com<\/span> <\/a> , is handled by Billetweb.fr.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n

Please read before purchasing your PASS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the event of a speaker cancellation, one or more substitute speakers may be proposed. In both cases, no refund can be requested (see Article 6.7).<\/p>\n

Participants should be informed that the conferences may be filmed. By purchasing a RR3, RR4, or RR5 PASS, the public agrees to appear in any images, videos, or films produced after the event.<\/p>\n

Those who do not wish to be filmed are encouraged to purchase a RR2 PASS. Additionally, they will be informed upon arrival via signage and announcements in the event hall, indicating the rows (reserved for RR2 PASS holders) that will not be filmed.<\/p>\n

Any purchase of a PASS constitutes acceptance of these general terms and conditions. No claims for indemnity or image rights compensation will be accepted after the event.<\/p>\n

Preamble<\/span><\/strong>
These general conditions govern the sale of tickets for the EX-SITU conference exclusively via the website www.exsitu-congres.com.<\/p>\n

Acceptance Conditions<\/span>
<\/strong>By accepting the General Terms and Conditions (GTC), the participant agrees to all provisions, including those that particular circumstances or new regulations may impose. They also commit to complying with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements outlined hereafter.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 1 \u2013 PRICING <\/span>
<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1 Entrance PASS<\/u><\/span>
<\/strong>The prices for the PASS are quoted in euros, including VAT. No passes will be sold on-site on the day of the event. All purchases must be made exclusively through the exsitu-congres.com website. The event is limited to 350 attendees. Participants wishing to attend last minute should check ticket availability on the website. As some conferences will be in English, non-bilingual attendees are advised to rent audio translation headsets.<\/p>\n

\u2022 RR2 PASS \u2013 2 days: \u20ac110 (headset not included).
<\/span>– Placement libre \u00e0 partir de la rang\u00e9e 8.
For persons with reduced mobility (PMR), please reserve a PASS RR2 PMR on our ticketing page.<\/p>\n

\u2022 RR3 PASS \u2013 2 days (pass + benefits): \u20ac160.<\/span>.
This pass includes:
– Placement libre des rang\u00e9es 3 \u00e0 7.
\u2013 A headset for conference translation (see details in Article 7).
\u2013 A BAR Pass for 3 drinks of your choice per day.
\u2013 The conference poster.
\u2013 The official event bag.<\/p>\n

RR4 PASS \u2013 2 days (VIP pass): \u20ac230 (24 available).<\/span>
This PASS includes everything from PASS RR3, with added benefits:
\u2013 Free seating in row 2.
\u2013 A special EX-SITU congress edition of Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se de Brosses'\u00a0Enqu\u00eate sur les enl\u00e8vements extraterrestres<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (French edition only, paperback, 308 pages).
\u2013\u00a0Unlimited BAR Pass (Open Bar),
\u2013 A headset for conference translation (see details in Article 7).
\u2013 The conference poster.
\u2013 The official conference bag + partner gifts (books, magazines, etc.).<\/p>\n

\u2022 RR5 PASS \u2013 2 days (VIP PLUS pass): \u20ac350 (8 available).
This PASS includes all the RR4 benefits, plus: <\/span><\/span>compl\u00e9mentaires :<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Reserved seats in the first row.
\u2013 Whitley Strieber's latest book (in English only) \u2013 release scheduled for February 2025 (which will be signed on-site).
\u2013 A special EX-SITU congress edition of Marie-Th\u00e9r\u00e8se de Brosses'\u00a0Enqu\u00eate sur les enl\u00e8vements extraterrestres<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (French edition only, hardcover, limited to 8 copies).
\u2013 Priority access and fast-track at the bar (open bar).
A private tour of Rennes-le-Ch\u00e2teau on Monday, June 30 with two secret guests (meeting point and time will be provided at the conference reception \u2013 Access to this visit is personal and cannot be transferred to a third party.).
\u2013 A signed photo print by signed<\/em> Whitley Strieber (70x100cm) from the exhibition \u00ab\u00a0Whitley Strieber memories<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb \u2013 limited to 8 copies. The prints will be distributed to RR5 holders in the order of arrival (in case of speaker cancellation, EX-SITU cannot be held responsible if the print is not signed<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u2022 BAR Pass: \u20ac10<\/span>
The BAR Pass allows you to purchase drinks and snacks at the conference space. It provides a 12-euro consumption credit valid for the entire event. This pass can be bought on-site at any time. It is not restricted to one user and can be used by multiple people.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Audio Headset Rental: \u20ac12<\/span>
Audio headsets are included with RR3, VIP\/RR4\/RR5 passes. These headsets allow you to follow conferences in both French and English. Non-bilingual attendees are encouraged to rent a headset. Note that headsets will be distributed at the entrance of the conference room on the first floor and must be returned after each conference, in exchange for a piece of ID. Headsets cannot be rented on-site during the event. Loss or damage to a headset will incur a \u20ac100 charge. (See Article 7 for more details).<\/p>\n

Note on PASSes:<\/span>
\u2013 EX-SITU reserves the right to move attendees if special guests or press are present.
\u2013 Wristbands will be provided upon presenting your ticket or invoice at the event entrance. If lost or stolen, no refund will be given, and entry will not be allowed without the wristband.<\/p>\n

1.2 Invoice<\/u><\/span>
The invoice received after purchase serves as your entry ticket, which you must present at the reception (via smartphone or printed copy) to receive a corresponding wristband based on your pass.<\/p>\n

1.3 Advertising Space Rental<\/u><\/span>
Advertising space can be rented within the conference venue. Pricing and conditions will be provided via email. Please contact us at: info@exsitu-congres.com.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 2 \u2013 ORDER REGISTRATION<\/b><\/span>
Any order placed on www.exsitu-congres.com will be followed by an email confirmation within 24 hours. If no confirmation is received, check your spam folder or contact us at visit@exsitu-congres.com.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 3 \u2013 VALIDATION<\/span>
<\/b>The visitor acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions before making payment. Validating the order signifies acceptance of these conditions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 4 \u2013 PAYMENT<\/b>
Accepted payment methods on the EX-SITU website include: credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro) or bank transfer.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 5 \u2013 PAYMENT AND PERSONAL DATA SECURITY<\/span>
<\/b>5.1 <\/span><\/u>All transactions made through the EX-SITU website are secured via HelloAsso and Billetweb's automated payment platform.<\/p>\n

5.2 Personal Data<\/u><\/span>
The information provided is necessary for processing your order. This data is also kept for security purposes and to comply with legal obligations, allowing us to improve and personalize the services we offer.<\/p>\n

In accordance with data protection regulations, you may exercise your rights (access, rectification, deletion, opposition, restriction, and portability where applicable) by email at: info@exsitu-congres.com.<\/p>\n

If your phone number is collected during your order, we inform you that it will only be used for the proper execution of your order or to contact you in case of any change or modification to its status.<\/p>\n

EX-SITU is committed to not sharing your phone number with third parties. Law No. 2014-344 of March 17, 2014, relating to consumer protection, allows any person to refuse solicitation by a professional with whom they have no ongoing contractual relationship. The consumer can subscribe to the free service to oppose telemarketing at any time through the government website: bloctel.gouv.fr.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 6 \u2013 REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS<\/span>
<\/b>6.1<\/u><\/span> In accordance with Article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, event tickets are not subject to a right of withdrawal. However, in exceptional cases, if a withdrawal is requested, any ticket order placed via the website www.exsitu-congres.com may be refunded if the request is made within 14 working days after the purchase, upon simple request to the email address: visit@exsitu-congres.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Any refund will be processed within a maximum of 72 hours, directly via the payment method used for the order. If payment was made by credit card, the money will be credited directly to the card used for the purchase. Please note that refund fees will be deducted from the final amount refunded, regardless of the payment method used:<\/p>\n

Refund by bank transfer or check:
<\/u>Any refund by bank transfer will be subject to a 3% commission fee. Refunds for orders paid by check will be processed by bank transfer (the buyer will need to provide a bank account statement).<\/p>\n

Refund by credit card:
<\/u>Any purchase made by credit card will be fully refunded.<\/p>\n

6.2<\/span><\/u> Passes are non-transferable. However, passes may be resold at their original price, but the buyer must present the original invoice upon entry. EX-SITU is not responsible for resale prices above the original ticket price.<\/p>\n

6.3<\/span><\/u> Refunds are only available to the original purchaser, not to anyone who buys a pass from a third party.<\/p>\n

6.4<\/span><\/u> EX-SITU is not responsible for errors or anomalies during the order process.<\/p>\n

6.5<\/span><\/u> In case of fraudulent duplication of an invoice serving as proof of the Pass, only the first person presenting the invoice at the entrance will be allowed access to the event. The buyer remains responsible for how their invoice is used (an ID may be requested).<\/p>\n

6.6<\/span><\/u> In case of force majeure (e.g., confinement, terrorist threats, destruction of the venue), a full refund will be provided without any fees or additional charges.<\/p>\n

6.7<\/u><\/span> EX-SITU cannot be held responsible in the event of last-minute cancellation by one or more of its speakers. In case of cancellation, and where possible, one or more substitute speakers may be offered. In both cases, no refund will be issued.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

ARTICLE 7 \u2013 AUDIO HEADSET RENTAL<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The audio receiver headsets allow you to follow the conferences in English or French. They are not mandatory, but they may or may not be included in the pass selected when purchasing your ticket. No headsets will be available for rent on-site on the event day. The headsets are distributed at the entrance to the conference hall and collected whenever you exit the hall (during or after a conference). A piece of identification will be required as a deposit when retrieving the headsets, in exchange for a ticket that must be kept throughout the two days of the event.<\/p>\n

Your identification will be returned once the headset is returned. Renting an audio headset implies responsibility for the renter. In case of loss, theft, or damage, the participant will be required to pay a fee of 100 euros (including taxes) per headset, to be paid on-site.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
